Emoji button on Logitech keyboard not working with iOS 17.1.1 upgrade

The iPad Pro upgrade to 17.1.1 installed last night. (There was no choice but to install it.) Now, when I press the lower left key on my Logitech keyboard an "A" pops up and disappears. I am attempting to use emojis in my email. Settings does not show an emoji or any other keyboard. How can I access emojis from my Logitech keyboard like I could yesterday?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 17

Hi, I hit command+Ctrl+space and emoji menu popped up. Lower left button no longer works for me either after update.
