How do I type a message that appears across the bottom of my locked screen
Anyone had success with this process on iPhone and or iPad?

You would need to add that to the wallpaper that you use on the lockscreen for it to appear when someone looks at the lockscreen. There is no other way to display text on your lockscreen.
