I only want to see "new message" is displayed on lock screen of my iPhone

Settings > Notifications > Messages > [Scroll Down] > Show Previews > When Unlocked [Tick]

How do I do this?

i found a solution:

under ‘ALERTS,’ turn off ‘Lock Screen.’ I personally leave on ‘Notification Center’ and ‘Banners.’

this way it will notify you of a new message but not the name

Now shows nothing. How do you get the “New Message” to appear only??

I can’t find Alerts in my settings

How do I do this?
