How do I stop sharing call history between two iphones with same apple id. Both my phones are running on ios 17

Apple IDs should not be shared between different people. Apple has been saying this for 10 years. This is only one of the problems that ID sharing can cause. From the Apple ID FAQ:

Your Apple ID should not be shared with anyone else. It provides access to personal information including contacts, photos, device backups, and more. Sharing your Apple ID with someone else means you are giving them access to all your personal content and may lead to confusion over who actually owns the account. To share purchases, photos, a calendar, and more with someone else, try Family Sharing Opens in a new window., iCloud Photo Sharing Opens in a new window., or other easy-to-use sharing features.

Me too!! It’s so annoying and I’ve tried everything to stop it. Any ideas.

This was fixed in 17.5. Took quite a while for Apple engineers to implement but hopefully it not return in the future.
