Can’t add Bt email account to MacBook

Driving me crazy - must be a simple fix having seen many threads.

Getting message ‘unable to verify account name or password’ - I know password is correct! Driving me mad, deleted 4 times, powered off devices etc. Checked ports/settings but no luck. Just changed password on bt webmail across all devices, still no luck. HELP!

Unable to verify account name or password I am having trouble creating an email account. New MacBook Air running Monterey 12.3. I have set up my 3 other emails without problems. The troublesome email is a go daddy account. I am positive the email name and password is correct as I can easily log on in web mail. I have tried everything including deleting and re-entering several times, advanced settings and ports, the enter password and "tab" approach to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Mail App unable to verify username or password hotmail - deleted account My Mail app on my MacBook Air won't let me log into my Hotmail account. I tried all of the solutions on the forum, even deleting the account from "Internet Accounts" and trying to re-configure it... but now I can't even add it again! The same error pops up. Any other suggestions?

Verifying Gmail account in Mac Internet Accounts failing I am trying to add my brother's gmail account to his new Mac, which I have done in the Internet Accounts section successfully with the right password. However, he is unable to receive mail in the Mail app, and the Connection Doctor says that "Trying to log in to this IMAP account failed. Verify that the username and password are correct." I've deleted the account from Internet Accounts and re-added it a couple of times as well as restarted his computer, but nothing's worked. Any thoughts?
