Typically in Full Screen mode you have no menu bar unless you move your mouse to the top of the Display...
An Alternative is don't go into Full Screen mode.
If you hold the Option key and click the green pill button>Zoom to take up all the screen real estate.
If you still have no menu bar, see about upgrading the Microsoft software to be more compatible...
