Apple watch modular face shows gray lines and boxes

My apple watch shows gray lines and boxes for where it should show my apple calendar events and stock prices. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve already turned off&on my apple watch and iPhone.

Apple Watch Series 8, watchOS 10

LOL. I solved it myself by visiting the Apple Store

Hi. I had the same problem and got it fixed today from a technician at the Apple Store.

What you need to do is

have your Apple Watch and iPhone close together.
go to 'My Watch' from your Apple Watch app on your iPhone
press 'All Watches' at the very top left corner
press 'information' sign
press 'unpair Apple Watch' (I don't recommend restoring data because this could make the problem come back again)
Done!
