AirDrop Not working on 2015 Mac

I have an early 2015 Mac Running Monterey 12.7.1 and I am having problems receiving or sending AirDrops. I have tried toggling off the wifi and the bluetooth. I have tried changing Airdrop from only contacts to Everyone. I can confirm I am connected to the same wifi network on both devices. My computer and phones are both up to date. I can see the phone trying to AirDrop to my computer but nothing happens. I have even turned OFF phone to stop potential interference as well. Who has some ideas of what to do?

I agree setting it up can be a challenge. I tried to setup my iPhone 7 Plus with my early 2015 MacBook Pro. For the amount of time and trouble it is faster just to hook a USB charging cable to the phone to move the files over. Image Capture is great for downloading photos and videos on your phone to your Mac that way. And if you want to do something like AirDrop you can copy to a cloud drive from OneDrive or Google Drive which has more free space than iCloud and copy it onto the phone.
