iPhone 15 Pro Max does NOT import to Photos app on macOs Mojave I tried restarting the iPhone while plugged and not plugged, soft reset while plugged and unplugged, I even erased it and restored it from scratch with no luck on iMac Pro 2017 an MacBook Pro 2018 the iphone is appearing but not loading or importing pictures at all, PLEASE HELP.

Process hangs with first import photo. "Stop import" works.

I'm having a similar issue. My new iPhone (also 15 Pro Max, with iOS 17.1; reluctant to do the update) does mount, but Photos gets stuck at either "Please Unlock your iPhone" or "Preparing to import."
this problem is occurred since ios17 came out and Apple did not address it so far and it's annoying

I’m having the same issue. I have 4 days left for the AppleCare and I’m torn if Id take this issue up to the store itself and get a replacement. I’m so frustrated I can’t import any of my photos into my computer
