iPhone 13 Pro Max NOT Importing on Photos Mojave on iMac Pro and MacBook Pro after updating to ioS17

I tried restarting the iPhone while plugged and not plugged, soft reset while plugged and unplugged, I even erased it and restored it from scratch with no luck on iMac Pro 2017 an MacBook Pro 2018 the iphone is appearing but not loading or importing pictures at all, PLEASE HELP.

iMac Pro, macOS 10.14

Hello iMoMo1978,


If your phone is showing up in the Photos app but no images are showing up when you select it, check on the phone to make sure the iCloud Photos service didn't get turned on. You can find that in Settings > name at the top > iCloud > Photos. (make sure the Sync this iPhone toggle switch is turned off)


Import photos from a camera or phone using Photos on Mac


You'll also want to make sure you've covered the basics like restarting and making sure it's up to date.


Shut down or restart your Mac

Update macOS on Mac


If it's still not working, you'll want to contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support
