New iPhone 15 Pro will not update Play Count in Apple Music

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 15 Pro and now my Play Counts have stopped syncing between my devices. When I listen to a song on my iPhone, it does not show up as played on my MacBook Pro. I see that other users are also reporting this issue since installing IOS 17 which clearly has a bug. This is frustrating as I use smart playlist that reference the "Last Played" as well as "Play Count" information which is not syncing anymore. I have also spent more than 3 hours chatting with Apple Support who has not been able to resolve this issue yet. I am hoping by reporting this, it will help prioritize a fix for this issue in one of the next release updates.

Apple for artist streaming count blocked does not advance for me since November 1st, others have the same problem, it remains to be seen whether it is a problem due to a data transmission error or something else.
