At log-in screen for Santander I'm able to put my Personal ID into the respective white box. However when cursor is moved to Security number and I try to enter my code numbers that box turns yellow and shows 2 or more random numbers. I'm unable to delete those numbers and have to abandon log-in attempt. (Fortunately my Santander App works).
Any ideas how to sort this ?

Let us know if you get an answer. I have the same issue and then, when I tab out and back to "pick my own password", once I get in, any action takes me back to the login screen. Have to fire up Windows to access the site through a browser now.
Same problem just occurred. Santander say it’s not their problem it’s a safari or Apple password problem. Cannot resolve. They suggest it is Apple or Safari password issue. Santander suggest I use their App which mightbe ok when I download but would prefer larger format. Why do these problems arise after years of no problem use?
I suggest you talk to Santander. Sounds to me the website has a problem.
Try Firefox or Brave browser.
I have spoken to Santander and they say it's not their issue.
I may pay a visit to an Apple Store to see if they can resolve this.

I've actually solved my problem simply by restarting my Mac - all ok logging onto online banking now
