Hi there. I am having trouble with creating dashed and numbered lists in Pages. When I use a dash or a number followed by a period and a space, it does not automatically create a list as it is intended to do. Thank you for your help in advance!

Look in Pages : Preferences : Auto-Correction panel under Formatting. Did you select Automatically detects lists?
Have you referred to Format lists in Pages on Mac - Apple Support
Automatically detects lists are selected under settings! I did refer to that page but did not see if there was anything that could help with automatically creating lists.
I have Pages v13.2 on Sonoma 14.1.1 and in Pages, if I enter a dash or a number followed by a space and then either text and/or a period, then automatic list building works for me.
