Safari tabs disappeared after updating to version 17.1.1

After updating to version 17.1.1, all the tabs in safari disappeared. I have no backup in icloud. Restarting did not help. Is there any way to restore the tabs?

Safari tabs disappearing This morning I opened up my safari and all of my tabs have completely disappeared. I tried to long press the + button to see recently closed tabs but there are only tabs that I had closed before. If anyone knows how to fix this and get my tabs back please let me know, thanks.

Safari tabs and tab groups disappeared I opened safari this morning and all my tabs and tab groups are gone. They don’t show up in recently closed tabs and going through my history is a nightmare because some of these tabs I’ve had saved in tab groups for ages and haven’t opened them recently. I have the close tabs settings to manual so it won’t have been this.

Same thing happened to me. I noticed the Recently Closed Tabs disappeared from the start page, even though that option is turned on. I tried doing a long hold on the + at the top right, but it was pulling up old tabs that have been closed.
