.pkpass will not load into wallet after iPhone software update to iOS17.1

Prior to updating to iOS 17.1 I was always able to add my Westjet boarding pass to my Apple wallet on both of my iPhone 13's. After updating both of my iPhone 13's to 17.1, Safari says that it cannot download this file using either phone. There must be a setting that has been turned on or added during 17.1, how do I repair this issue? Thank you.

I had the same issue: pass showed up when I clicked on the email attachment, but no option to save to wallet.

If you have a Mac, you can save the pass there, then Airdrop it to the phone - it will go straight to the wallet.

How long before Apple fouls this up remains to be seen.
