usb-c cable not fitting flush into my iPhone15pro

I find myself in an odd situation where one day I’m using my USB-C charging cables with my iPhone 15pro and then yesterday the connector stops fitting into the phone completely. It doesn’t fully lock into the phone and it will not charge. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have only been using the USB-C cable that has come with my iPhone but also tried the one that came with my iPad Air. Both are not fitting in properly with the phone.
