I recently started receiving notices from McAfee telling me to activate it. The notice pops up in the upper right corner of the screen, appears for a few seconds and then disappears, but pops up repeatedly every minute or so. Extremely annoying. It wants me to purchase the product which I have no intention of doing so. How can I make this disappear? I am running Sonoma 14.1 on a MacBook Air. Thank you for any help.

Try and see in your applications folder if there is something from mcafee there and please delete it. Some shops (at least in my country) pre install a version of mcafee (I don't know why they're doing that very annoying)
