ios17 wallpaper blur keeps disabling every morning

I have exactly the same issue, along with many others. And like you I have to go through the same steps to resolve it. Interestingly when my wallpaper unblurres, when I go into customisation it still shows it as blurred .. I have to unblur it, set it then customise again to blur it. iOS 17 is utter rubbish.

It’s happened to me 4 times in a week since the update. I haven’t been able to change it in the way you described though, I’ve had to do a full restart for it to work.

I don’t think it matters about the photo, mine are the same.

The different Home Screen wallpaper will not stay blurred. It unblurred every time I unlocked the phone.

The Home Screen will only stay blurred if the Lock Screen and Home Screen are the same wallpaper.

Same here. I’ve had it happen at other times of day too though. I think it may be related to charging (?) both wired and wireless.

I’ve reported it through the Support app and would encourage all here to do the same.

Did you hard restart the iPhone after the update?

Got the same issue was hoping to find a fix here haha!
