I imported a CD, the tracks were in order from the album BUT when the import completed, the songs were in alphabetical order, NOT in track order. How can I fix this?
Running Big Sur V11.7.10 on iMac (late 2015)

Click on a song to bring up the Get Info box. Then in the Details tab change the Track X of Y to the sort order you want.
PS - I'm not sure why they didn't appear in the right order to begin with. Perhaps this link will help:

Appreciate your quick response. Very strange, though: when I opened up Music this a.m., looked at that last CD import and now see all the songs in "album" order ... weird, perhaps leftover Halloween gremlins.
However, I'm also grateful for the link, which is useful.
