Sharing location from Apple Watch instead from the iPad

My daughter has an iPad and an Apple Watch but when I go to Find My, in the People section, I can see the location her iPad has and not the location her watch has. If I go to the Devices section, I can see her watch’s location. I would like her watch to be the one sharing the location in the people section instead of her iPad. I can’t find a place in her iPad that selects her watch as the device to be sharing the location in Find My.

What setting is making the iPad to be the default device for location sharing over the watch?

Apple has some tips in Find people and share your location with Find My - Apple Support

I don't have an Apple Watch to test this - but the following passage from that page might be of use:

Change your sharing device

To change the device that you're sharing your location from, open Find My on the device from which you want to share. Select the Me tab, then choose Use this [device] as My Location.

This also requires "Apple Watch models that have GPS and cellular".
