iPhone 15 pro max and iPhone 15 plus on iOS 17.1.
Autocorrect and revert back function not working, particularly on WhatsApp. Clicking “x” on not wanting to use the suggested word will somehow choose the suggested word instead. And after the suggested word was underlined, tried clicking the revert back arrow to get back the original wording, that doesn’t work too.
Anyone else facing same issue?

I’m having the same problem. Seems to only happen in WhatsApp, like you have mentioned and with the predictive text disabled (or not available, like in my case, using the Finnish keyboard).
Occurs on all of my family’s devices: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 12. All on iOS 17.1. Didn’t occur on iOS 16.x.

Same problem, I’m using Czech keyboard and it behaving as mentioned above. Switching to English keyboard does not solve the issue. Have any of you found the solution? Thank you
This is still happening for me, not just on WhatsApp but other apps as well. It’s absolutely infuriating. iPhone 12 mini, iOS 17.3.1

Having the same problem with all the keyboards/languages I tried like English (US & UK), Spanish and Finnish. Sent multiple messages and videos to demonstrate this to WhatsApp and they are still saying the reason is Apple or my phone. This is really annoying. It started with iOS 17.1 and it is also in 17.1.2.
I have the same problem. The new iOS 17.1.1 and WhatsApp update did not solve the problem...

Hi. I just updated my software to 17.2.1. The problem has been resolved. Revert is working on WhatsApp now. Yippee!!
it was solved with iOS 17.2 but it’s happening again with iOS 17.3.1. Any solution?
No solution identified yet. WhatsApp support says its Apple issue… and yet, havent seen any rectification from Apple on this. Ios 17.1.2 still having the same issue
It happens on my iPhone 15 plus only when using WhatsApp. Really annoying though!
