Missing Keyboard in Spotlight Search (iOS17.1)

Fastest work around:

• With the spotlight open, drag from below (to display recently opened apps)
• Move any app screen a little bit right then a little bit left
• Finally, touch the very right of the screen (to select the most recent app which is the spotlight itself). It will be displayed this time with a keyboard.

Has apple recognized this as an issue? It’s very fristrating.

I thought that at first but this doesn't work unless you touch one of the existing apps in the stack that appears when showing apps then bring back spotlight. Only then, does the spotlight appears correctly (with the keyboard).

Just showing apps and tapping the far right of the screen (to bring back spotlight) shows it without the keyboard. At least that what happens with me.

just go back to showing app and bring back the spotlight search and the keyboard appears. Its almost like the keyboard is there you can press the area and it types letters just doesnt display it

I’ve restarted it many times but it always comes back. Ive had my 15 pro max since early October. It’s been an issue since I got it.

Hi Apple, can you fix this already ? Restarting doesn’t work, nor any other third party advices. And im not going to hard reset my phone just to fix the keyboard issue. Very frustrating when looking for passwords! Fix it!!!!!!!!

Sometimes closing all the open taba helps, but it is very annoying.

It’s a pain, but sometimes the keyboard is there, you can type something. Close spotlight and reopen it, the keayboard will reappear.

Same problem, how to solve? Any idea?

Restarting the device fixed the issue for me.

Same issue after software updates, hard restart on a iPhone 13 solved the issue.
