When I’m trying to type anything really, the phone predicts what the word is I’m about to type, but not the way it used to. And as I’m typing, letters keep appearing after the curser. So I keep having to move the cursor to the end and delete those letters and it just does it again. It’s taking an agonizingly long time to type text messages. I’m on ios17.0.3 using a 12 mini
I finally just turned predictive text off. Maybe someday Apple will get their sh17 together and stop giving us half-***3d features that other companies seemed to have figured out long ago. The glory days of innovative tech that “just works” are long gone.
Yeah, I thought about just turning off predictive text altogether, but it does come in handy and I would like to know what it is that I’m doing wrong because it shouldn’t be doing that. How is that letter “e” in the word “are” getting in front of the cursor?
