Home Screen wallpaper blur issue

Hi !

After updating to iOS 17.1, I am having trouble keeping my Home Screen wallpaper under the blur settings.

It shows a blur wallpaper in the preview while customising Lock Screen and Home Screen but it doesn’t blur the actual Home Screen background.

**attached are some of the screenshots from wallpaper settings

Note : This happens when I try to select different photo as a Home Screen wallpaper, works fine when Lock Screen and Home Screen wallpapers are same.

Same happening with me. As long as the wallpaper pair is the same, the blur works. Anytime, you pick a different wallpaper for the homescreen, the blue shows on preview, but the image shows as is when applied. I believe it is a bug associated with 17.1

Have You Tried Restarting Your Phone? That Might Help. Other Than That, No Clue.

yep! Restarted it then the issue was fixed. But it was a temporary solution.

Issue came back again after few min.
