Graphic performance on iPhone 15 Pro stutters, particularly with graphic-intensive games?

My iPhone 15 pro often stutters during gaming. It’s particularly noticeable with fast moving graphics. My previous device (12 pro) never had this problem.

The severity of the issue varies but it’s happened every day since I received the new device, at least four weeks ago.

It is not related to when the phone is downloading or syncing etc.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there anything I can do?

I also have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and it really struggles with games mostly as you say graphic intensive ones like Asphalt 9 or even Mario Tour. Its seems fine initially but after about 10/15mins it does heat up and then performance degrades mostly when in driving games going round corners where its trying to draw more graphics quickly.

I am so disappointed and i wish i would have jumped ship to Galaxy as i have tried all the same games on her new S23 and they all look much better and run miles better with sold framerates.

I am now outside my return period so now stuck with this phone for 3years and i will not be getting another iPhone, it feels like the old iPhone 6 plus bendgate all over again where Apple will deny its the device or OS.

i have rang Apple Support and the outcome is i am going into the store next week to demonstrate the issue to their Tech Team, i did offer to screen record running the game when first started the phone and then after 20/30mins of playing record same level car etc and that way they can visually see the difference. They would rather physically see an Engineer, i will also bring my old phone and 2 Android phones running same game so they can see how poorly the iPhone 15 Pro Max is even compared to older less performant devices.

Same here. I love everything ELSE about this phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max) which I just bought last week. Sad thing is that this choppy game-play motion is a huge problem while playing my favorite game, Mario Kart Tour. My last phone was a iPhone 12 Pro Max and it did NOT have this problem. I am pretty upset about this, as I play often and competitively and the jerkiness is so bad at times that it really affects my outcomes, especially in multiplayer games. I expected A LOT MORE from the Apple Flagship phone boasting its game-play prowess. They need to fix this, as I’m sure it’s an Apple problem, not a Nintendo problem.

IOS updates have not resolved the issue and my friend has the exact same phone and his is fine which makes me think there may be a bad batch of manufactured devices and apple is in denial about this. I hate my phone now and I can’t wait till I change change it to a Samsung one asap. It’s really sad as I have had iPhones since they were first launched but my patience with them is now exhausted

I have exactly the same issue, even the old word games such as wordscapes and codycross stutter when simple objects animate. I noticed this during every update. I can't help but feel that sometimes this Iphone 15 pro max is not a latest flagship iPhone at all. My old samsung galaxy s10plus performed everything flawlessly and thats a 4-5 year old phone. Please sort this out Apple.
