I got a new phone and I signed into ICloud. When I try to search up older messages they don't show up, but I scrolled for a long time and they are there. So is there a way I can make them show up when I use the search bar? I've had the ICloud setting on "forever" for a long time so that's not the problem.

Well, it pops up, eventually, correct? If so, it may be lagging due to wiggle storage available to perform the search. So, try clearing space. Read the following...

Place quotation marks on the end of the words. It may make the searching a bit quicker.
The messages only show up when I manually scroll up in the chat, but not when I use the search bar. And I don’t think that storage is the cause of it because I have plenty left. To be more specific about it, I have very old messages coming up with other people, but in my top conversations older messages don’t come up if that makes sense. Sorry if this is a bit confusing
