Why can’t I see my old pictures

I would to see my old pictures of my phone I don’t know what to do can you help find them please

If you have deleted the pictures longer then 30 days ago and you don't have a backup there is no way to recover them

How do I recover missing photos after iPhone 12 mini setup? I was setting up a new iPhone 12 Mini. I got a notification on my old iPhone saying that I can set it up with my Apple account and I proceeded. Everything worked out fine but after awhile I saw that there were some missing photos.
