When I try to print from my iPhone, I select the printer, go back to press print and the model number of the printer flashes and disappears. It again says “no printer selected “

If you recently updated and the printer is no longer connecting, check to ensure you have the latest firmware installed on the printer next. This could cause it to no longer connect to your iPhone. You'll want to look in the user guide or reach the manufacturer for guidance.

I have HP 2700 desktop All in one inkjet printer and have the same problem. I looked for firmware update here https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16 . When I updated the firmware I get the message that the printer has latest firmware as of Dec 2023. But I also see that there is one update from March 2024. The printer disappears after a millisecond.
I did exactly that last night and the problem is certainly resolved. I’m glad that firmware was available from my printer. Thanks
