Hello, for years I have been paying for APPLE MUSIC and have not used Apple Music, good idea to find out what am I paying for? is it just a membership, that if i go into Apple music, i can then purchase the song i want? or does it actually give me something for my money, if it is a membership, then i would like to cancel it,
I shared Apple Music's family, but when I went into Apple Music after payment, I got an error saying that the music was not working and I couldn't connect, and when I accepted the family invitation, the error keeps popping up. Please correct it.

Apple Music is not free and cost $10.99 (US) per month. I am not aware of any music service that is free as they have to pay the music publishers royalties to play their music.
You may be able to listen to radio stations using an app or online for free.
Apple Music gives you unlimited access to the song catalog while you remain subscribed; it's separate from actually buying tracks and albums.
