how to see contents of my icloud backup

Apple says that my icloud backup is over 5GB.

Most of the backup is taken up because of photos and videos. If I exclude photos on my iPhone from backing up to the icloud, it tells me that the contents will be deleted and there are photos that are not on my iPhone.

How do I see the contents of what is backed up on icloud. I want to do this using my window PC so that I can easily compare the icloud contents with what is on my iPhone? I do not see any option to see my icloud backup after I log in to the cloud from my PC.

Windows, Windows 10

Hi niranjan134,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! To manage your backup, we would recommend the follow resource that can help:

View and manage iCloud device backups

View and manage iCloud backups on your Windows computer

  1. Open iCloud for Windows, then click Storage.
  2. Click Backups on the left. On the right, you see devices with iCloud Backup turned on.
  3. To delete a backup, select a device, then click Delete.

We also recommend the article below that can help:

What does iCloud back up?

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
