how to see contents of my icloud backup

1. Open iCloud for Windows, then click Storage.
2. Click Backups on the left. On the right, you see devices with iCloud Backup turned on.
3. To delete a backup, select a device, then click Delete.

The question was how do I see the content of back up and not what app being backed up. For instance my youtube app is backed up, but what is actually backed up? A link to the youtube video or whole video?

That doesn't even help a little bit. I have the same problem and need to access data from the direct backup file since my new phone doesn't have the same storage as my old phone. I thought i was able to back up all my photos and videos to the cloud but It didn't transfer all my files. So now i am trying to access the direct information from the backup save file

That’s your choice but the analogy is trying to put two gallons into a one gallon container, you need more space. Or, you need to recover from the other backups that you keep off your most precious data. Three copies, made two ways, with 1 copy kept offsite is the gold standard

The backup can only be restored to a new device, it cannot be browsed.
