Crackling sound from speaker

I have my iPhone 15 Pro Max for about 2 weeks now. I heard the crackling noise first time today while playing Clash of Clans. If I close the app and reopen it, noise will go away for a while. Had to close the app few times due to the noise. I’m running iOS 17.0.3.

Metallic or distorted sound from top speaker on iPhone 16 Pro Max Hi everyone, I recently got an iPhone 16 Pro Max and noticed a slight metallic or distorted sound from the top speaker, especially during high-pitched parts of songs or at maximum volume. I previously used an iPhone 13 and never noticed anything like this. I took it to an Apple Authorized Store, they ran the diagnostics and everything came back “green” — no hardware issues were found. They suggested it might be a software tuning issue and that future iOS updates could improve it. However, I can still hear that distortion in some songs or voices, and I’m wondering if this is just the way the speaker is designed (due to the smaller physical size and increased volume) or if it’s something others have experienced too. Has anyone else noticed this on the iPhone 16 Pro Max (or even the 15 Pro Max)? Did software updates help reduce this over time? Thanks in advance!
