I just bought the new iPhone 15 Pro Max from the apple store and out of the box the speaker is crackling very bad when I do anything from listening to music, watching videos, watching movies, and even on phone calls when on loud speaker. Even when I lower down the volume to 50 percent the crackling is still there... anyone else having this issue ?

I’m having the same issue. I bought mine 3 days ago and it has this problem. I’ve been reading every article and post that have peaked my attention and I came to this conclusion: I strongly think that this might be a software issue because, like you pointed out and from my experience, it crackles or rattles when certain sounds are played (it doesn’t matter which volume level it is at, when that specific sound is played, it will show this crackle or rattle).
I really hope that Apple puts out software fix or at least acknowledges this issue.

I’m having the exact same issue as of 2 days ago. I bought my IPhone 15 pro max 2 weeks ago and all the speakers and ear piece functioned fine until one phone call it was a click every few seconds. I placed the call on speaker and it was fine. Took a phone call today and the clicking was so bad I immediately placed the call on speaker. Now when I play anything on my phone there’s a clicking/ odd frequency sound in the left speaker of my phone. I just did a restart but the same thing keeps occurring.
Even I purchased iphone 15 7 days ago and I noticed front ear piece speaker 🔊 crackles at above 70% volume as it has been removed from water, only my iphone 15 unit has the problem or all iphone 15 series has it ?... Plz somebody respond,is this a software related issue,so that it can be solved in next update or hardware issue,,..I feel bad , usually iphone speaker are the best one to sound, apple should have done something till now
Turn off silent mode. If your device has a Ring/Silent switch, move it forward to the device display so that you can't see the orange mark. ...
Go to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb and make sure that Do Not Disturb is turned off.
