What is the latest Software update for Safari?

My Mac says the latest Software Update is Catalina 10.15.7 Chase will not allow me to see my Credit Card info without updating my Browser. Online it says 17.0 is the latest. I have automatic updates.

To upgrade to the current Safari 17.0, your MacBook would need to be upgraded to macOS Monterey, Ventura or Sonoma.

I believe that Chase also still allows Safari 16.6.1 which can be run with macOS Big Sur.

I would but CHASE will not allow a 3rd Party Browser. They say I have to have 16.0 or higher and because my MacBook Pro will not, at this time, Update higher than Catalina 10.15.7 .My Mac B was purchased in 2012 and it is like brand new I am not willing to buy a new one to satisfy Chase but I am willing to Cancel my Chase card in a NY Second. Thank you for your suggestion I do appreciate it.
