Battery Capacity decreased with no apparent reason

Hello!

My battery loosed 4% of maximum capacity for two month although my Macbook is connected to power adapter most of the time.

System report says:

Cycle Count: 70

Condition: Normal

Maximum Capacity:96%

Any idea what could be the reason? Should i recalibrate the battery (is it possible on MacBooks?)?

Yes. In fact, the Battery Capacity can actually fluctuate up & down. Keep in mind that until macOS 13.x, Apple never showed the user any information regarding Battery Capacity so the average user has no idea how these batteries work behind the scenes.

It is best to ignore it until you start to experience issues with the battery not working to your expectations.
