Early this morning my iMessages stopped working. I can receive messages via iMessage, but when I try and send, they fail and then go out via SMS. I've tried to reset iMessage, I've tried shutting down my phone and restarting. I am in process of updating the software. Not sure what else to try! I have an iPhone 8 Plus so wondering if Apple may be phasing out these phones? Appreciate the help.

Thanks for replying, ringlah, and that additional info. If this is only an issue with SMS/MMS messages (green bubble), please contact your carrier for further investigation. If this is happening with blue bubble messages, please contact Apple for further investigation:

Thank you. I’ve tried all of those solutions and none have worked. I downloaded the latest software, I’ve tried to reset. Incan receive messages via iMessenger, but I can’t send them that way.
