Audio jack not working on docking station?

Hi - I'm using a 2020 M1 macbook pro, and recently had an Anker docking station (which died). Instead of shelling out a bunch again to get that docking station, I have access to Lenovo Thinkpad docking stations through work. I connected it tonight and EVERYTHING works great....except that the sound choice is either to go through the Macbook speakers, or the Monitor's built in audio...but no USB audio device exists to have it send through the docking station and out to my speakers?

Thoughts?
