Unable to remove podcasts from the Apple Podcast app on my Apple Watch

Thanks for the info however it did not reference the Apple Watch podcast controls. Is there any concrete way to add and remove specific episodes that works without wondering if or when it will respond?

None of this works. A simple format would be you press your finger on the podcast on your watch and delete it. My watch is clogged with downloads that won't delete. You can try to delete them from your phone, but they are still there on your watch. An upgrade please to delete pods from your watch?

It's ridiculous. No matter what you do on your phone, it seems your watch grows fond of some podcasts and they NEVER GO AWAY! And your new podcasts that you want your phone to download? THEY NEVER DOWNLOAD.

You should be able to select the distinct podcast episodes you want on your watch: either on your watch (boy, wouldn't that be handy!) or on your watch app on your phone. But you can't. It's all done blindly. You can't see the episode and guess what? YOU NEVER GET IT.

I have looked for information across the internet and found no instructions which match what I find on my iphone, watch app, or on my watch. It seems mark as played on the podcast app on the apple watch has an impact. I think back on the ipod days how simple it was to load and delete what I wanted when I wanted.
