My iPhone 11 fell into my bath for a second and it was fine until a few hours later when it started lagging, anyone with advice??

Do like I said it fell into my bath and I took it out immediately and I thought since iPhone 11 is water resistant it won’t be damaged but few hours later it started lagging, it’s impossible to use it, anyone with a solution here and also how is it possible for iPhone 11 to be affected by water???

Do NOT put the phone in rice.

Let the phone dry out for a couple of days, then see if the phone is operating normally.

Water resistant does not mean that the phone is waterproof. If the phone has been damaged by water, this is not covered by the AppleCare warranty and you will be looking at purchasing a replacement phone.
