You really only have a couple of options, since Safari updates are tied to MacOS updates, and I'm assuming your Mac's operating system can no longer be updated.

The options would be:

• Use an alternate browser, as D.I. Johnson has suggested.
• Purchase a new(er) Mac that can run the current MacOS (Sonoma).

If I had to guess, your current Mac is over 10 years old, right?
