Final Cut Pro doesn't display Mavic 3 Classic 5.1K H.264 D-Log video files

I recently upgraded to the latest Mac OS Sonoma from Monterey. Final Cut Pro previously was able to render my Mavic 3 Classic 5.1K H.264 D-Log video files and it was fine. When I upgraded to Sonoma, those files now show up as black. I have done some research and one user suggested to run the files through Handbrake and change the codec to something Final Cut Pro can use. I will not be doing that because that is a pain and takes way too long for 5k files. It used to work, so why would they take that ability to read these files away? Please let me know if this is something Apple is aware of and fixing, or if there is something I can do to make it work. In the meantime, I guess I will just use Premiere Pro because it works fine in that editor.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15
