DuckDuckGo App suddenly stopped working on iPad Air. Will not open. Crashes.

I’ve long used DuckDuckGo App on my iPad Air. It recently stopped working. I tap App, Icon shows up with a black screen, and, after a few seconds, crashes. The App never opens. I have latest software versions for both DuckDuckGo and OS for iPad installed as of this date 16 Oct. 2023. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling App - to clear cache / favorites. Did not work. Anyone else having DuckDuckGo App issues?
