I have bounced my song about 10 times, both real time and off-line, and the volume automation in one measure, and only in that measure, but on two separate tracks, is completely out of sync. Both tracks mute at the exact same time, but when I bounce them, either the individual trucks or the entire project, the tracks mute about three beats too early. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

If Audio is Out of Sync:
Try Resetting the Core Audio:
Type the following command in Terminal:
sudo killall coreaudiod
To get to Terminal go to: Applications > Utilities > Terminal

The plugin on one track is Alchemy and the other is Kontakt 7. I just tried rebooting my Mac Studio and switching the automation from volume automation to just mute automation and it still has the same problem. both tracks are muting early at the same time. i'm stumped!

But the big picture is missing. It could be delay settings, it could be plugins causing latency...
Thanks for responding! So, when I play the project back, the volume automation works as it is supposed to. It only does this when I am bouncing, even if it’s a real time bounce and even if it’s a bounce-in-place. Also, what’s weird is that I have this same automation on another track at the same time and they are both muting/dropping out a little bit early/at the same time.

anyway, i gave up and just printed them to audio regions and just trimmed the regions where i wanted the mute to happen.

No. Rebooting would not reset the Core Audio.
