Unable to update Apple ID to new email

I am trying to update my Apple ID to the new email ********@collins.com, but I am always getting error where this email is unavailable. The new email address was used to create an apple account previously, which I have submit for deletion and have already received the Apple Id account deleted email on 6 Oct.


Can you advise on what else need to be done for my email to be valid for replacing existing apple ID email?

That is the best resource for changing your Apple ID. If the issue persists, the best step would be to reach out to Apple Support directly so they can look into this with you further.
