How do I add the Canon Pixma TS3400 to my Mac? I can't seem to find the set anywhere!!!!!

I purchased a Pixma TS3400 and it promised easy setup, however the printer does not appear on their setup options for Mac. I'm wondering if it's due to the Monterrey version? or is this a printer issue ?

Hi,

The following TS3400 series models are listed as supported in About AirPrint - Apple Support:

  • Canon TS3420
  • Canon TS3423
  • Canon TS3425
  • Canon TS3429
  • Canon TS3440
  • Canon TS3450
  • Canon TS3451
  • Canon TS3452
  • Canon TS3460
  • Canon TS3465
  • Canon TS3466
  • Canon TS3470
  • Canon TS3480
  • Canon TS3490
  • Canon TS3491
  • Canon TS3492

Basically, you begin by connecting the printer to your Wi-Fi network (router). For example, using a WPS method (https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Tutorial/TS3400%20series/EN/TRL/trl-0005.html).

Make sure that the printer and the Mac are connected to the same network.

Add the printer (https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/PrinterDriver/M/TS3400%20series/1.0/EN/PPG/dg-c_aap_addprinter.html).

An AirPrint guide (for similar printers) from Canon UK could perhaps be of interest as well:
