How to i reset everything to defaults?
Hello! I think I have my iMac unorganized, so i thought about resetting everything to defaults, can someone help me do that without losing any data? thank you!

Resetting everything while retaining everything you need is sort of a tall order. Perhaps you should describe what's disorganized. Fixing whatever is wrong will almost certainly be easier than erasing your Mac and reconfiguring everything from the ground up.
This marvelous (and free) utility EtreCheck can gather heaps of data about your Mac and present it in a concise format. It is very likely to point you in the right direction. If you need help interpreting it post its report here. Thanks, I did use EtreCheck previously, and it is an awesome tool to check for faulty parts or the reason of your mac being slow. I'll just back up important data such iPhone Backups & documents in an external hard drive, and do a clean MacOS install, thank you!
