I'm attempting to forward a message from my "Mail" account to another recipient. I enter the email address of the recipient and get the message "Cannot Send Mail. The sender address was invalid" Given that the sender's address is mine, I don't understand

Hello to anyone: I suddenly can’t forward ANYTHING to anyone, even myself, in any application. This includes photos, news stories, emails, texts or whatever. I have an XS. Anyone else have this issue, which started today?
Interesting - we just came across the same issue. My wife tried to forward and email to my 12mini from her 12 and I did not get it and her phone says it went to me.
So she sent a new mail: 'test' and it came directly to me but forwarding is not working.
From that I can only guess that, along with yourself, we are not the only people with this issue.
