iPhone order delays

I ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max on September 15. The Apple order page showed that it should have been delivered by Friday, October 13. It wasn't. At one point UPS tracking showed that it was scheduled to be delivered by Thursday, October 12. It wasn't.


Now the Apple order page only shows "Arriving soon" and UPS tracking has gone blank, showing "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible."


It's a month on now and there is no specific delivery date. Does this indicate a problem? I thought Apple's delivery dates were reliable. Apple's online chat is closed because it's the weekend.

Try to call again on a business day.
