Delayed Delivery of iPhone 16 Pro Max

Ordered my iPhone 16 Pro Max on 21st September.

Order is still processing & tentative delivery is showing 15-21st October.

Why is there so much delay in the delivery ?

I placed my pre-order on September 14 (iPhone 16 Pro Max 512gb) my delivery window is still Oct 8-15 and just yesterday it changed from Processing order to pressing order to ship. I doubt that I will get my iPhone delivered before October 15.

I also doubt about the delivery of my phone before 22nd. Called the customer care & they assured that the delivery will be as per the schedule.
