Reminders not syncing between Watch and Iphone

Hi my Apple Watch series 9 seem to have difficult time syncing reminders between iPhone and watch. Those created on watch work perfectly fine on both but those created on iPhone appear only on iPhone. I tried resetting sync data and re-pairing my watch but it didn’t work. Other services like calendar work perfectly fine on both.

I have done this multiple times without any luck myself. I am having a similar issue but unrelated issue. Several apps are no longer on my Apple Watch since updating to 10.0.1. My iPhone has the most updated software (iPhone IOS 17.0.03) and several apps are out of date but will not install or update. It seems as though I keep having to "log in" to my apple ID on my Apple Watch software, yet it does not resolve. Restarted my iPhone and Apple watch several times and still no luck. I have made sure both are on the same wifi, bluetooth enabled, but nothing. I do not want to erase my Apple Watch as it will require me to update the software which took hours.

Hi amadi7,

If you haven't done so yet, restart your Apple Watch and paired iPhone. Although simple, this step can help correct some unexpected issues. It's also a good idea to make sure both of your devices are running the latest software versions, since this can help with overall performance. If an update is available for your iPhone, be sure to create a backup before installing it.

There are some additional steps that may help address the issue here: If your iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders won’t sync

Things to check first
1. Check the system status of iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders for services outages or connection issues.
2. If a reminder isn't showing up on some of your devices, make sure that your iPhone and iPad have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, or that your Mac has the latest version of macOS.
3. Make sure that you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. Then, check that you turned on Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders in your iCloud settings.
4. Check that the date and time settings on your device are correct for your current location.
5. If you use iCloud for Windows to sync your Contacts and Calendar with Outlook on your PC, make sure that you've updated to the latest version of Windows. Then follow these steps to sign out and sign back in again

Regards.
