How to Efficiently Transfer Large ProRes Log Video Files from iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max to Mac via Cable?
I'm reaching out to this community hoping to find issue I'm experiencing with my iPhone 15 ProMax.
Here's the situation: I frequently use my iPhone 15 Pro to shoot a substantial amount of ProRes Log videos, which are saved directly to the device's internal storage. These video files are generally quite large, averaging about 5GB per minute, which translates to some extensive data bulk to handle.
The main challenge arises when I attempt to transfer these massive files to my Mac. I have tried using AirDrop; however, given the size of the files, this method proves to be extremely inefficient and time-consuming. It's just not feasible for the volume of data I need to move regularly.
Considering that the iPhone 15 Pro supports USB 3.0, I'm convinced there has to be a more efficient, wired method to expedite this transfer. However, I'm not clear on the exact steps I need to follow or whether there's a specific application or protocol that would facilitate this process.
To clarify, I'm specifically looking for guidance on transferring these large video files via cable, not alternative methods like iCloud Synchronize.
Could anyone provide a detailed walkthrough or point me to resources on how to accomplish this? I'd greatly appreciate any help or insights from those who've dealt with similar data transfer scenarios.
